Hampi:

Hampi is nestled within the ruins of medieval city of Vijayanagar in the state of Karnataka, on the banks of the Tungabhadra river. Set in a surreal and beautiful boulder-strewn landscape, Vijayanagara (the City of Victory) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and although the city was destroyed by marauding Moghul invaders in the 16th century, much of it remains today. Enjoy sightseeing tour of the ancient ruins that are spread over 26 sq km area, many of which lie in and around Hampi Bazaar and the nearby riverside area, which also encompasses the city’s most sacred enclave of temples and ghats. East of Hampi Bazaar is the UNESCO-listed 16th century Vittala Temple, the undisputed highlight of the ruins.

Badami:

Badami Boasting about the Buddhist architecture and sculptures of Lord Vishnu, the Badami Caves are majestic and sure to mesmerize you with its massive boulders: The caves overlook Agastya Lake and many small hillocks that carry a hypnotic charm. Enroute, if you’re lucky enough you’ll spot sun-flower fields making your journey worth-while.

Itinerary:

Day 00: Thursday, 

• 18.00 pm: Volvo sleeper class bus from Mumbai to Hospet (bus tickets to be borne by participants)

Day 01:  Friday,

• 07.00 am: will reach at Hospet

- Check in hotel at Hospet

• 09.00 am: Hampi sightseeing after breakfast

• 20.00 pm: Dinner and night stay at Hotel

Day 02: Saturday, 

• 07.00 am: Breakfast & journey start to Badami

- en route sightseeing (Pattadakal & Aihole) and lunch

• 20.00 pm: Dinner & night stay at Hospet hotel

Day 03: Sunday, 

• 07.00 am: Morning start with visiting the famous Shiva temple, Virupaksha Temple after breakfast

• 08.00 am: Full day sightseeing of Hampi with lunch

• 16.00 pm: Shopping at Hampi Bazar

• 18.00 pm: Return journey starts from Hampi to Mumbai (en route dinner)

Day 04: Monday,

• 08.00 am: Will reach at Mumbai (estimated)

• Hospete to Hospete by private/local transportation

• Stay in Hotel on Tripple sharing basis (Non A/C)

• Twin sharing will be at added cost and have to bring companion for the same

Things To Carry:

1. A Water Bottle (~3 Ltrs) (a must)

2. 1 torch (a must) with spare battereies

3. Sleeping Mat – Bags (a must)

4. Tiffin Box, Plate, Spoon ( a must)

5. Extra Pair of clothes (a must)

6. Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)

7. Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments

8. Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits etc.

9. Good trekking shoes preferably Action, do carry a extra pair as well

10. Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)

11. A haversack to put all these things

Rules & Regulations:

Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.No plastic littering.

Wear full sleeves, full track suite to avoid mosquito bite.No jeans/ skirts/ skin tight cloths.

Proper footwear/ shoes are essential for trek.

Conserve and preserve our heritage. No deo / perfume. After trek it’s OK.

We reserves all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice.

No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behavior during trek.

Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding.+ Photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purpose.

Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage.
